Bárðar Saga Snæfellsáss Statue
Anarstapi, Iceland
Bárður Snæfellsás is a stone statue said to represent a mythical protector of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula in West Iceland. It was sculpted by Ragnar Kjartansson and looks like something out of a Lord of the Rings story. It is in the town of Anarstapi which is about a 2-3 hour drive north west of Rejkjavik.
