Coat of Arms
Prague, Czech Republic
Prague's lesser Coat of arms is seen in this manhole (personhole?) cover in the city center. It is an icon of successful defense of Charles Bridge against the Swedish army during the Thirty Years war (1618 – 1648). Look carefully and below the three towers you'll see a silver armoured arm holding a silver sword emerging from the city gate.
